a Cob wool robe from arun area has approximately 1/10 the AC of a lori robe, and a ud5 robe has nearly the same AC

it takes about 35 armor damages from a usher in a-1 to break a wool robe, and around 350 to break a lori :D

UD5 robe seems to give significantly better combat protection than a lori.

A +5 yellow robe also is better combat defense than a lori from my experience.

Did you know....

There is a weird text command to see the lighting on ingame hexs?

format for it is: #light xx , xx where the x's are numbers

for example , if you type: #light 10,5
the message you get is:
Light at (10,5) = 0

You only get responses of 0 or 1, so I assume 0=off or no and 1= on or yes

This isn't the psi spell either, that would be #form light

I really have no clue what it is, just stumbled upon it one day when I was playing ;)

"uhh", Atom's probably wasn't for IH's. It was for zaps. And you don't hit 4 keys, you put it all into one macro.

In the old text FE there was a way to put hard returns in macros.

I have not been able to figure it out in the gfx FE.

Still, you can assign each macro to a seperate key and press the three keys in quick succession. I have *RTB0 on F1, *DRINK on F2 and *BTR0 on F3 for characters that use weapon and shield.
