As Doro Stated with the "new" version you are unable to make new Macros

On the old version i would use F1 F2 F3 for my PW's

Now i am unable to. I tried to use CTRL and ALT those didnt work either.

It seems to be the new macros are not registering.

I was able to set Gift of Healing as F10 and Criture F9
Since those were already on the macro section.
But no new ones will work

F key macros are working for imported macros on healer..however, cannot make new F key macros on a freshly rolled toon.

I set a custom "form teleport healer" and set it to F1 and it worked fine.... And they arent imported macros... oh and I set some xform macros to Alt 1, Alt 2, Alt 3, Alt Q, Alt W and they work fine too...

Are you sure you are using the latest version of Drakkar?

I am sure you are. But mine still dont work

I'm having no problems, same as Tirith. I can alter existing macro files with alt+, ctrl+, F# keys and create them without a hitch on entirely new macro files.

XP SP3 for what it's worth.

I dled the latest version of the FE and it appears to run better, however when I use my barb in NL I will still have th eoccurence of the game not accepting commands. If I log in and try to type "Party join whatever" the p shows up in the command line and I get kicked out of the game. I also made an entirely new macro file for my main crit and several log ins after I made it I get the messages about adding discs to my macro group, similar to when you get tagged in to a guild and your macro file changes. Now all the macros pretty much work, but they say <empty> when you pass the cursor over them.
I am using win XP SP2

the F1 key seems to respond to custom macros, but I can get no responce from F2 onwards.

I'm having issues with a "default" macro which i acn not seem to find and it seems to have binded to 'U' , so whilst I'm typing in game if i say anything wiht the letter 'u' i activate a macro that just inserts the text "default"

for example: try typing this in game:

'hello buddy' when typing i get this 'hello b default ddy'

it seems that there is a macro template hidden somewhere? with the value set as default and accessed by the U key.

Also, when adjusting the game macros' for example, Nash's Fury i uncheck 'target lock' set it to ctrl+z and select needs path, yet every time I save these settings no matter what it always uses the 'target lock' setting and re-checks the box on its own.

Please advise.

I have a new version "out to test" with some people now that basically fixes most of these issues by creating an ascii text files for macros.

I'd release it to the general public but it has some SDC stuff in it, and requires you not to visit BANKS on live servers. hahaha

Um, yeah. The point of making a fix is so people can use it (smile).

As soon as I get the new version of the host up on all the servers I'll post this for public testing.

As always latly I got tired of reading things on this old Win 98SE, but.. the moral of the story is this. Don't install vista unless you have to. If you do, go google a version of TinyVista instead. And for the love of god turn off User Account Controls (UAC) and Data Execution Protection (DEP) ASAP!!!

I'm running Vista Home w/ sp2. No macro problems. The DEP setting is probably what is causing the issue. How many that are having problems have to "run as administrator" when they run Drakkar? You might notice a difference in the game performance between the two run modes.
