if you want you your message like <banker> withdraw 500000 ; @ money's up! to be yelled out use prefix @
if you want to have it heard by people that can see you only, and not by say hidden thieves and invised crits then just say it, don't yell like this:
<banker> withdraw 500000 ; " money's up!
talk prefix is "

I always found it humorous that people doing transfer in bank would yell through out the whole town about it :P

PS
in <banker> you have to use actual NPC's name just "banker" will not work.

deposit:

<banker> deposit 500000 ; @ money's in-and-out!
or
<banker> deposit 500000 ; " money's in-and-out!(hush-hush)

Hehe you right,
there is no hope for me, you guys actually played when this was the only method,
i myself would use it while setting a F5 macro with auto return in cob where bankers change seldom and are few, so can have tree banker in the line... ; <--- acts as a round separator and you can perform a command and speak in same round.

Thanks for reminding

(Since its been released before i figured it was okay to verify that its true)
For all those who wondered if race is a factor, here it is.

Why did you dig up a 7 year old thread?

For two reasons.
(1) Just last week there was discussion in lobby about this issue.
(2) Not many new players look into wealth of information thats out there. Information in old messages are not irrelevant for new players.

As a returned player who's forgotten most of that, thanks for #2! (and I really only knew a fraction of the content here anyway) hehe

Didn't see this anywhere so I figured I'd post it. Normally if you want to look at a player or npc you'd type LOOK AT PLAYERORNPCNAME. If you want to look at yourself, however this command doesn't work.

If you want to look at your own self you can use the SHOW command as follows:

SHOW SELF

The SHOW command works for a lot of things and basically gives a text description rather than opening a window for graphics. Try the following:

SHOW STATS
SHOW SACK
SHOW SKILLS
SHOW LOCKER
SHOW POUCH
SHOW BELT
