Drakkar disc in real life

Well one day your walking outside for some odd reason and BAM! you trip, you turn over to see what it is u tripped on and by god its a magic lamp, after rubbing it for a while thinking it would work you stop and decide to continue on with your life , but not after you give it a few whacks with your sledge hammer, after a good swing it breaks open and a genie (spelling) comes out and says "Since you freed me from my lamp i shall give u ONE ability from kingdom of Drakkar and you will b able to use it in real life as much as you want"

Well with this said what ability would you pick? it can be anything from parry to elance, would you use your new ability for good or for evil? and why would you take it?

If i had to choose an ability from drakkar peronaly i would have to go with power word stun, the possiblities would be endless , you get into a fight just say stun and bam walk away or your teacher is collecting your homework and you didnt do it? STUN and finish it in class. sooo many possiblities. but enchant would be cool too, i would love my +9 golf clubs...

With Power Word Heal, or CritCure, you would have the world at your feet. Imagine the power to change national and world policy that you would have. It's in human nature to want to live as long as possible.

However, some rather interesting ones would include Charm and Fate.

Mass Teleport, transmute, or CritCure would make you rich beyond dreams ... but it seems to me that transmute is the only one you could keep a secret .. .assuming you were not too greedy ...
here's what is wrong with:
Mass teleport: you KNOW the military will be one you like flies on a Howitzer
CritCure: a) people are SUPPOSED to die ... cycle of life ...
b) what wouldn't most people do to control your cc'ing them? Your loved ones would never be safe

It becomes a struggle for keeping your loved ones safe, no doubt about that. Choosing Crit Cure is the choice for power, not for a quiet safe life. You'd end up countering the threats by offering oblivion to the people threatening you and quite the opposite for those protecting and helping you. And there would certainly be backlash of some kind against you because you would find it impossible to save everyone, just because of time constraints.

Bringing up the military and Mass Teleport bring to mind the move "Dr. Strangelove'!

I wouldn't want a disc, i'd like to know how to make a YP. Do that and time is no longer a concern and as long as you can stay alive anything becomes possible.

Remember you can CC someone but it won't stop them from growing old

I'd have to go with protection from fire. Not because it's the most useful, of course... but because it would be just plain awesome.

My new home would be a raging inferno. Depending on the power of the disc, I'd go swan diving in the volcanos of hawaii.

A third of the world would think I'm a freak of nature, another third would think I'm the antichrist, and the rest would sit around scratching their heads in confusion.



If that didn't work, I'd have to go with illusion. Then I could still live in my raging inferno, and I could also walk through walls(bank robbin' time!) and create giant stone walls to protect myself, since these illusions are realistic.


I'd rather have a disc for the fun or novelty... screw the power. Power disappears when you die, and I'd rather have lived a life worth living.

nobody would care if you had mass teleport or teleport because you can only go to places you've already been and memorized...so if you can't get there in the first place you can't get there via teleportation

the most practical discipline for around the house and such would be reveal, you could find that remote and all change you've dropped in the couch and anything else that the little gnomes that live in your house have taken and hidden.

If you were trying to win fear factor respirate would be a nice discipline to have...ability to move normally and breath in water

liminv would be another fun one to have for whatever reason...bank vaults...stuff like that

I'm sure if you could teleport around the world, the airliners would get pretty p!ssed. You pay the fair once, then undercut them, just hang around at an airport all day = lots of money


Any who wouldnt like to get to work in the morning by hitting F1 ? damn sure i would, beats the drive there. Then getting home by hitting F2, thats gotta be priceless.
