Halloween Candies

i heard that you get 5 candies per crit, not sure if this correct or not, also wat does the costume do?

The costume doesnt do anything special. Just allows you to look like monsters in the game. And you are correct, 5 pieces of candy per crit slot. But, if its the same as last year, the candies cant be dropped and picked up by another, because they will poof.

What do the candies do when eaten? Raise stats? If so, what's the max on the stats? Would be nice to have em do all the good effects that Dion pots do, without the "Something very bad just happened" message. Hopefully, no razorblades in the apples this year?:D

yes they raise stats, not sure if its random or pre determined by the type of candy though, guess ill try sensing this 'loween

10 per crit, raise stats up to 19 i remember

Trade 10 candies for +1 stat on any gear. On top of other stats too.

If 19 is the max, it may be a fairly useless event to any Cob active players - seeing as how you can get up to 21 with stat pots (or, 23 with Dion pots).:zzz Unless we're talking luck/charisma boosts - that would be nice.

Maybe some fun randoms like a minor % boosting of skill levels, Youth pots, raising of EPs/HPs, something like that could be interesting. Probably not gonna happen tho'.

As for all you people saying you wont be wanting your candy... On the day of haloween I will knock on your door and say those words "tricker treet".... Well it seems helpful to me, for those pallys and ments who are haste addicted... its "nice" not to have to pay those outragous prices on buying str pots and stuff, and taking the risk of loosing chars and other stats using dion. At the same time I think many people will agrea having any event is better then having none at all.... Well happy early halloween

You are only allowed to EAT 10 candies per halloween per slot, if I remember correctly from last time. So if you eat other peoples, as long as you don't go over the limit they work. But after 5 or 10 or something, they stop giving stats.

perhaps from last year.

I know before that you could easily eat AS MANY candy as you wanted and still get gains.
Note: this was back when the event was held in alt 1 and people rolled up fresh accounts with nicks like "Candycrit". :p

A lil trick to getting more than 10: Find somebody with a low lvl crit that does not want/need the candy and "steal" it from that slot. Please note that I am not condoning theft without consent.
