Im currently 16/15 thief, with decent gear (FP, camos, all Nork/Aleria bracers, dancers, hippogriff boots, attack sash). Im skill 13 in dagger (using Kaxx) as my main weapon skill.
I am on the "silver" plan.
I mostly solo when I play.
Where is the best location for thief skill at this point? And is mugging still the best option, or backstabbing or what?
Im not looking to power-level myself. Im just looking for the best use of my time, and kinda anxious to get another skill level or 2.
Thanks.

well, if you get tolerable gains, i suggest going for skill 16 thievery for chain before you concentrate on getting weapon/xp gains. well, if you're doing gains solo anyway. otherwise feel free to leech xp/skill of any type in any order.

Yeah, I plan to focus on thieving prior to weapon/xp gain, but where and how? (mugging, backstabbing, stealing)

heh, i'd agree with dem, make skill 16 thievery and then work on xp and weapon skill
Mug/steal up to skill 16 thief, couldnt tell you where really, just test it out and find a good area for you. I did my thief skilling from 1-12 in n1, 12-14 in aleria, 14-15 in ud1, 15-16 in ud3.5
but, my thief is not my main crit, so it had alot of help.
Some areas to try would be Thumperville <dungeon below alerian ice floes> Clicker/Garg, maybe n6 or m2.
Havent done any skilling in nork in a while, hehe

If Practice makes perfect, and nobody's perfect, then why practice?
If ignorance is bliss, why aren’t more people happy?
What are those little things on the end of your shoelaces called?
and finally...
If money is the root of all evil then how come churches ask for it?
