It isn't that annoying, you only get the credit message for things that you've killed, you don't get the message for things others kill (that would be a bit too much spam).

Getting non-drak players to come to Drak and take the time to d/l the game and take the time to learn the game is sometimes quite hard to do. Drak is a 'niche' type of game, and in many ways doesn't have the things that make it appeal to the masses, such as lots of eyecandy. But another option is fo...

I really don't care much either way about poison kill exp... But in reality, isn't much different than a healer charming a giant and having it drink a nitro pot, then blast it with whatever, and get the exp/skill from that giant. Or...killing something with any other psi disc, just that poison takes...

So basically, you are asking people to donate stuff for you to put in the raffle, which you will charge them to buy a ticket to try to win their stuff back?

Shadeth, I think Brad said that the skill each person gets, is based upon the equation using the exp lvl's, reason for why I didn't think it was logical. He said that the factor that the amount of skill a deaded crit gives is determined by: (Your EXP lvl/ ToTal EXP lvl's of party) * (amount of skill...

Not sure if it is possible due to the fact that skill lvl is a derived value, unlike exp being a set value, But for skill computations in parties, wouldn't it be more logical to use values of the person's skills being used? For example: In your previous post you said the basic formula for skill comp...

Another perk to this game is : Once you make an account, it is ALWAYS there for you, it will never get deleted cause of inactivity, EVER. That is a very nice perk, no matter how good a game is, after 8 months or a couple years, you will get bored with it for a while, and need a break. Quite often, w...

Nah, wouldn't work, most don't sense IH's and stuff all the time. More practical way would be to make a bottle tie to the person who is filling it, so that ONLY that person can drink it, if possible.

for my thief's throwing macro, I chose to set up the macro a bit differently I made my throwing macro: throw left at Kinda works out nicely, since in Nork and Cob you prolly tend to throw different items (Nork usally stiletto OR Raxe), Cob ( typically forged hammer, forged axe, FS LS, FS Hally, or V...

F. Cast LimInvis on them, so others won't have to hear them begging in game for gear in the SF , and the person won't know that nobody can hear them, and probably not know how to break liminvis. Sorta MAKES them go hunt, at least to lose the liminvis , since they probably don't know they can kick Da...

Did you know.... There is a weird text command to see the lighting on ingame hexs? format for it is: #light xx , xx where the x's are numbers for example , if you type: #light 10,5 the message you get is: Light at (10,5) = 0 You only get responses of 0 or 1, so I assume 0=off or no and 1= on or yes ...

Mostly what I was referring to was leaving the NPC's (bd scalers and sword bearing NPC's) for the thieves to pick off, most thieves can reliably 1 shot em, takes the other fighters a couple shots to kill them. The ideal party would have everyone using their damage potential to its fullest. When a th...

One thing I forgot to mention, was that while in pillars, and a thiefy in party, is really nice when a ment casts an illusion wall in the NE or SE corner of the main area people stand in, during pillars hunts. In Cob, my best guess towards weapons that need variety would be Shortsword , dagger, mace, and axes. Not a real variety of them in Cob (let alone Nork). To the best of my knowledge all you have for them in Cob are: Shortsword: hmm...Forged shortsword, improva shortsword, and low quality floortrash....

Heh, if Brad ever removes the lvl 30 skill cap, thieves would be able to solo any lair in Nork/Aleria/Cob and probably most in NL (unless Brad made them unhideable against via thieves), without ANY risk whatsoever, as is a thiefy can solo MOST Cob/Aleria/Nork lairs with NO risk, once high enuff in t...
