Re: Players like options rather than retro changes

It was wrong of me to assume that Skip was trying to keep the AA Cloak information non-public. You're right, I didn't have all the information. If Skip knew nothing about it, then I apologize for attacking him with those accusations. Thank you very much. That's all I was looking for on that point. ...

Re: Players like options rather than retro changes

If SIN was made up of two people, that doesn't mean we would always have the same ideas. If someone in SIN were to abuse something, I'd expect to have some kind of knowledge about it before hand. That's how our guild works. Maybe your guild doesn't communicate as well as we do. I thought my point t...

Re: Players like options rather than retro changes

Call me old fashioned, but I'm just a fan of accountability and integrity in this game. But apparently you're not a fan of ethics and courtesy. If you were worried that Icawn was damaging the integrity of the game, fair enough. Send the text to Brad. You've accomplished your goal. Posting private m...

Re: x% hit in NL (the Percentage formerly known as Five)

I think everyone knows by now it WAS intentional, and is just wondering why, and why it was denied. I posted in another thread that mind-reading is dangerous, and often leads to erroneous conclusions. I do believe your conclusion falls in that category. Say what you want, but my experience is that ...

Niko,

I had the same problem a couple of months back. My healer lost Avatar Health. Was very weird. No idea what caused it.

Re: Players like options rather than retro changes

I'm not backing down from what I've stated. You knew it was broken, and your guild chose not to tell Brad. End of story. Congratulations. Clearly you're correct, John. I retract all of my prior points, simply because there can be no other valid view but yours. Not "end of story", though. ...

Re: Players like options rather than retro changes

You can't honestly say: I would, in fact, disagree that it is obvious that the AC is clearly an oversight. Brad says it is, so it is, but my disagreement is that this was clear. Darge said it perfectly, it's not just the best AC robe in the game, it's the best AC item in the game with it blocking b...

Migam wrote:Brad's reply to my email re: exactly that was that there is no 5% forced hit in NL. Isn't that the same thing?
Maybe it isn't 5%, Migam, but less? Just guessing. Seems like I get hit less often than 1 in 20 swings in Dornar.

Re: Players like options rather than retro changes

Seems like we're splitting along guild lines on this issue! Shocking ! The lack of a level requirement on the cloak is fairly clearly an oversight; no disagreement there. (Guilty!) I would, in fact, disagree that it is obvious that the AC is clearly an oversight. Brad says it is, so it is, but...

Re: Barb Abilities 31+

I don't play a barb, so forgive my ignorance. What I've heard about "Cleave" is that it misses much more than regular attacks, and that it is a debuff.

Any indication on how long that debuff lasts? Is it a debuff that lowers to hit/damage, or defense, other?

Thanks!

Re: Rapid aging question

Regenerate ages healers a ton; the disc, not the tier.

Castign MT ages a lot as well; I wouldn't be surprised if the stress factor is based on the # of passengers.

In the help section, there is a list of discs with their stress (aging) factors. I seem to recall not all discs are listed, however.

Multi Hex crits

There's an issue with multi-hex crits, like NL and FG. I can stand, say, 3 or 4 hexes away from the center of the crit, and use "attack", and hit the crit with no problem. That sounds right...crits like that are big, and I'll be hitting his hambone, no doubt. However, I can't do anything e...

Re: latest version of drakkar

I believe the problem may be related to leftover Windows registry entries that uninstalling the older version of Drak doesn't remove. I went in and manually deleted all Drak references in the registry, and then I could make new macros, lo and behold. See if that works! Even better would be if the of...

Re: Deplete

Hijacking this thread a bit, but it's related. One of the new post 30 skill additions was the f/m's ability occassionally deplete a target from a melee hit. I have yet to notice this. Might be because, iirc, you don't get a succesful message when deplete lands (correct me if I'm misremembering), and...

Are you firm on those specs?

My video card is much more powerful than that, but my RAM is at 1.5, and single core 2 Ghz processor. But I'd enjoy participating if you have flexibility on the specs.

Re: Suggestions for F/M skills 37 to 39

Apocalyptic Delirium actually already gets a +5% boost to damage and to hit penalty per skill from sk 35-39. Unless you're asking for even more of a boost. Sure, in line with the fire/ice damage increases that were recently added (those on top of the 5% improvement per level, that is). Not married ...

Suggestions for F/M skills 37 to 39

Couple of ideas off top of my head: Skill 37 Ankors energy has a chance to stun the opponent, similar to energyspear Skill 38 Focused/Discerning Eye stack with Divergent Essence; they don't wink out when Divergent is cast Skill 39 Delirium line has a boost in terms of lowering the opponent's "t...

Ah, gotcha. Would it be feasible then, instead of altering the old macro bar, to add a new one that could float?

Would like to see detachable macro bar....

....that I can drag around the screen, like I can my sack, belt, pouch, etc. Especially when using attack tiers, it's a long mouse drag from the current macro bar to the crit boxes. Have to go back and forth for each tier. With discs, wasn't so much an issue, because you'd pretty much use the same d...

I was looking at thruststrike (its code added by a programmer after i left mpgnet) It doesnt seem to do more THAN charge at higher level (in general), adds 5 strength and 4 attacks (but caps attacks at 12) Not sure what the intent was with thruststrike (in general) Since it caps attacks at 12, that...
