Clandestine Accuracy & Anotomical Knowledge
Anyone else have any experience with the two thief class quirks? Right now with 15 in anotomical and 14 in clandestine, I still have yet to notice even the slightest difference in backstab hit/dmg. Wondering if when brad corrected the earlier problem with anotimical if he overcorrected it in the oth...

you think a sub cat would stop mockery/hatred/flaming? it wouldn't, but as mars said, it's not doable, so let it be.

Not sure about the barb class all that much but... Either a quirk(which would be more suiting for it) or some tier that would allow a "harden skin" which would give them an improved base armor value. Like, Battered visage: Barbarian's skin has toughened over the years increasing their resi...

I am a A Time Dragon! Hey, I took the http://dragonhame.com online Inner Dragon quiz and found out I am a Time Dragon on the inside. In the war between good and evil, a Time Dragon tends to walk the fine line of Neutrality.... When it comes to the powers of Chaos vs. those of Law and Order, your inn...

Class Specific Threads
Why don't we have actual class specific forum groups?
That way people can post questions/dicussions based on a class that don't fit into the existing threads groups(ie, topics that don't neccessarly apply to nl, nork, or cob, but just a generalization type of thing)

Thieves in keep mostly ztink, scalers see thieves till fairly high skill thievery, plus they charge/occasionally have returning maces. in the right areas quite a bit of monsters can charge.

i'm more for the preemptive hate *grin* It really isn't an issue since the underlying code can be fixed to work correctly and simply give no message, there really isn't a way to prevent kill stealing, lair stealing or anything else via code, the only way to prevent these things is to work on player ...

Adding it to whats blocked out by abriged isnt acceptable, thieves need to know whats targeting them as i've stated somewhere either previous in this thread or a different thread, we shouldn't be punished anymore because some gimp coding needed to be added to hold some twits hand. its easy, it shoul...

Thats fine and dandy for nonthieves lk :( For thief class you need to know if somethings targeting you, so we're stuck without using abridged combat messages or with wasting lots of rounds attempting to bs stuff that is targeting us(scalers in keep for instance) Complete removal of the kill credit i...

Ok, it was bad enough previously, now that its still nonfunctional and being added to the rest of the game its past the point of being bad into the area of being simply unacceptable. Brad, I realize that you're attempting at quieting a certain ammount of the players who cry all the time about kill s...

Used to be at least some risk vs reward in crit progression(and all of the associated exploits that go along with a system like that) Why not...

Not a bad idea. Also how bout nonthief classes losing ability to backstab, hide, or steal entirely? Thieves don't have chi, focus, zerk, barb immunities, and a only select few of healer/ment discs that operate at half our thief skill(meaning skill 24 thief to iv someone else if i'm not mistaken) so ...
