<@icawn> if u didnt notice already..the cloak has more ac than any other item in game lol <@icawn> so <@icawn> runts = m25 <@icawn> lol <@icawn> and you may want to consider tying some to accounts <@icawn> because brad can change the no level req/untied at any time <@icawn> and it may not affect a t...

Re: x% hit in NL (the Percentage formerly known as Five)
Little did you know, Acaciam, I've been emailing Brad, telling him there is no problem, for months now. Through this, I perpetuate customer dissatisfaction, which I feed off of, growing stronger, and continuing the cycle.

Conspiracy (n)- a plot to carry out some harmful or illegal act (especially a political plot).
What you described basically equates to Brad being unable to find a kink in the coding.
P.S.- Looking to purchase a tinfoil hat?

You seriously think you're being lied to? What does Brad have to gain by doing so, especially on this particular issue?Acaciam wrote:I think everyone knows by now it WAS intentional, and is just wondering why, and why it was denied.

Re: missing tiers...
I'm not saying that Brad will do anything different about the issue, just that bugs, especially ones like this, would best be fielded through him. Mars' stance makes sense given his inability to check backups to verify the tiers were lost. It's slightly unreasonable to think he'll just take a person...

Re: missing tiers...
Well just got the word from Mars that they don't track tiers and I'll just need to find new scrolls... which is rather ridiculous considering barb field tiers are some of the only 'rare' items in game. No offense to Mars, but you're talking to the wrong person. E-mail Brad, there's a chance he has ...

Re: 5% hit in NL
There's also some evidence that not all of the uber speed changes are successfully taken out. In Cob, after the speed was taken out, Dion still trades with players while in danger (a "feature" of uber Cob).

It's difficult not to become annoyed when established once-a-year content comes up broken and nothing is said by the one who programmed it (aside from responding to a completely unrelated suggestion).

Re: 5% hit in NL
A preliminary tests (nothing particularly damning) show what appears to be a min hit. Using a sk 38 barbarian, I repeatedly #arg'ed against my ment in what might as well be unhittable AC (Lvl 70 gear, 2 AA robes). Occasionally, a hit would sneak through. Then, using the same set up, but having the b...

Re: Players like options rather than retro changes
That changed, however, with the AA cloak. (To say one never gets hit in the BDC forest is not accurate. One gets hit much less frequently with the cloak than w/o, no question about it. But it's being portrayed in some of these prior posts as a cloak of invincibility, which it is not.) But to my poi...

Re: 5% hit in NL
In cases like this, I have the feeling Brad isn't looking in quite the right place. I definitely notice it, and it's not theoretically a huge deal until 1 sneaked in hit means death, but it is important.

Re: Players like options rather than retro changes
AA was changed in september.. If I am not mistaken your guild was one of the first to defeat it after the change.. It is known if something is wrong, you post about it? They were certainly the first to kill him multiple times since the revamp (and congrats on that), and all that I've seen points to...

Re: Players like options rather than retro changes
Do you realize how much AC the cloak has? If not for the 5% min hit chance that snuck into NL, one cloak would literally make a lvl 70 geared crit unhittable in BDC forest. Not to mention it's lack of a level req is a huge oversight. It's also worth noting, that Brad originally described this cloak ...

Re: Exp/Skill Buffer!!
There's a problem with the idea of a enormous skill buffer in that you'd be gaining skill from an area that typically wouldn't provide you skill if you weren't capped. IE. You are skill 35, and so you would use forge or similar to get a skill buffer, which don't normally provide skill past 35. But y...

Re: Barb Abilities 31+
Having played my barb for many years, I've only come across a few situations where cleave is viable to use considering the dumb dezerk affect of it. Zerk is the one ability barbs have always had and it's what they do. Naturally adding to the zerking capabilities of a barb just makes sense. An abili...

Re: Barb Abilities 31+
I would like to suggest getting rid of the cleave ablities on barb and giving us 5 or 10% damage boost instead. It's kind of funny you say that, because the improved Cleave functionality makes it one of their better abilities inside of a party in my opinion; better than +5/10% damage anyway. But I ...

However, this has showed my laziness because I put some quest items in creatures sacks instead of pouches. Though i'm sure you are enjoying the thievery, please help me compile a list of creatures/items that need to not be stealable. I'm working through some of this on test now. There are many argu...

Re: Barb 38 skill non-functional ?
For Barbarians -- Looks like each notch of zerk went up from 20 rounds to a whopping 22 rounds. And the skill 38 "zerk pool" means ya can have 10 "increase rage" rather than the default 5 "increase rage's". Any Barbarians out there jumping for joy ? You either don't un...

Re: Results of Boot damage testing
That can't be right . . . can it? All the different numbers and adds etc have no effect? Does this mean all we have learnt has been for naught OR the formula being used is not taking the boot adds into account upon kicking. As far as I know, "adds" on an item act like a multiplier when it...
