Re: Crashing Issues
First, thank you for taking the time to try and help me with this problem Merlin. I really appreciate it. I just tried again after a new install as admin, no luck. I have had 36 critical events so far today while troubleshooting. All were with Drakkar. Nothing else. They are all pretty much the same...

Re: Crashing Issues
In the Windows 7 User Account Settings, under Change User Account Control Settings, I turned my settings down to "Never notify" so that I wouldnt be required to give permission each time I started up Drakkar. That didnt work either. Just letting you know what else I have tried at this poin...

Re: Crashing Issues
Thank you for your help Merlin. :) 1. Uninstalled from my C: drive and reinstalled on my D: drive. I was able to finally log in the stuck characters after doing this, but they were both immediately stuck again after I bought a succor scroll and attempted to cast it. 2. I am the only user on my compu...

Re: Crashing Issues
Yeah I am 100% sure its on my end since im sure there are plenty of people playing in Windows 7. I was hoping someone could pin down the issue based on the triggers for the crashes. The common denominators are clicking on any of the trainer npcs and macros for non-innate disciplines. Succor is one o...

Re: Crashing Issues
This is getting ridiculous. I tried to start playing challenge nork today. I made a thief on my mentalists slot. After dedicating, I tried to change the macros and it crashed. So I tried to change the macro group, and the instant I click on a different macro choice from the skill list, it crashes. S...

Re: Crashing Issues
I deleted the drakkar.prm file and renamed one of the .mac files for a specific character. I tried to log in that character and it immediately crashes. Due to the instant crash, I have no way to change anything in game. Luckily I renamed the macro file instead of deleting it and was able to change i...

I am also crashing when trying to access Brewing and Quirks. I also crash when I add Succor to my macro group and then hit ok to save it.

Crashing Issues
Hello, I was hoping someone out there has experienced similar problems and can tell me how they fixed their crashing issues. I am running on Windows 7 pro 64 bit SP1, quad core, 8 gb ram, ASUS 6670 video card. The game immediately crashes me back to the lobby in the following situations, making it u...

Enchanting to become pgear would take away from the greatest quest in any game ive ever played. Why not implement a new quest... similar to the Kings Quest and make the weapons handed out, anything but a Staff, Stiletto, Longsword and Gauntlets. Make those new weapons only hit the "boss" c...

Its $50.00 for all 4 slots at this time, or $20 per slot once it comes out of beta. With that said, I didnt mind paying $50.00 to get over there, check it out, and get some nice skill gains compared to nork/cob. Shortly after paying, I noticed the skill gains I heard about were changed, so that was ...

Whew, I thought that was a bit extreme for a simple fix. ;) Thanks for the reply Brad. Any chance of getting the leader dropping the party bug fixed too? When people drop from the party, sometimes you cant tan critters that the party killed... even if you did the killing shot. I think if the person ...

I saw in the bugs section of NL, you listed that you changed the way corpses are handled... ie. no more grabbing corpses that werent killed by a player or that players party. Did you institute this across all the segments, because in alt 1, I have noticed that if you try and pick up a corpse that so...

Thats how it used to be with The Pit, I didnt understand why it changed. Once you leave nork for cob, you should be stuck there, then the same when you leave for NL. It will keep the big dogs from going back to the content that is easily solo'd by them at thier new level.

One thing that is nice about free accounts, that no one has mentioned, is that they can be used for storage when your pay account(s) get too full.

Im whining? You are the one that started the thread and decided to cry and then when your tantrum was done, to point the finger at everyone else around you and blame them for the way your world looks. Feel free to find a thread started by me that crys about the way newbies act and point it out to me...

So Morgar, its the players fault, players like myself, that are to blame because AnonFreePlayer#4539 didnt learn how to interact with other people? Or is it my fault that AnonFreePlayer#8543 realized how easy it is to make free accounts, and realizes that they can do whatever anti-social thing they ...

You grew up in Drakkar in a time when the game cost a fair amount of cash to play. During that time you didnt have people playing for free, running around on accounts that were "disposable" and creating havoc. When someone is paying 5-6 bucks a hour for a game, they are less likely to goof...

Never said my suggestions were Fighter only. In fact I think they should be for everyone. Even merchants. Every class should be rewarded in some way other than just holding a weapon for its blocking properties at higher skills. MA's and Pallys already have alot of class specific skills, the ones I l...

Is there something tangible granted at {weapon} skill 30 for healers and ments? Yeah getting skill 30 in anything besides thief will have a bit of self satisfaction, but adding some diversity to the plain combat system as it is, wouldnt hurt. I know the devs are getting ideas from Everquest and I ho...

Paladins are religious warriors, and the focus are representative of thier faith. MA's get chi, which is based upon thier inner strength and intense training in hand to hand combat. What is the reasoning behind you thinking that only a paladin or MA are masters of weapons? Do you think that its hard...
