I believe that the returning tantos in all the areas of Sullen Keep are a nuisance. It just makes dragging impossible (especially with the few enemies that we have to drag as it is). Sorry for the late reply but yes, I noticed this issue too. If memory serves I think the ratio of skill gains became unequal once I got to skill 36. The weapon skill started racing ahead of ment skill after that point

Some of your suggestions I fully agree with Tirith. I am as eager as you for new content and hope that it comes out soon. Side skilling can only keep one occupied for so long Also I agree that temporal continuity should be completely done away with. That feature certainly only inconveniences people....

I agree with both Skip and Pancho. I do like Skip's idea for the Nork goblets, but it might be tricky to code unless if it was made possible to only add goblets that are one number away from other ones (like the Mormar/Wolf/Dark knowledge book page rule) The Roo idea would be convenient indeed. I agree that this is a rather prevalent problem (especially in the case of the Rift Guardian Boots). Since they are unquestionably the best boots (by far) in the game, it would be rather odd to switch them out except in an isolated rare occasion.
