Re: Top 10 Random Loot Drops You'd like to see
The new weapons are great, and I love the damage that we're seeing from them. However, I'm not a huge fan of the basic weapon graphic nor using an item that the NPCs of the area use as well. I think it'd be a lot of fun if we had an NPC that offered to upgrade each of the SK weapon drops for a rando...

Re: No XP Level 88
Silver level is available at 86. You're unable to step into the Gold level of the castle until 87. Once you've hit 88, you can descend into the Black L2 area.

Gotcha! I must have just seen a fair amount of the ice resist ones then. Thanks!Brad wrote:Yes, fire and ice resist are distributed between different creatures ( its the way test was yesterday ).
None has both, etc.

Re: 020 - All NL ( 11am eastern )
- Resistances have been reduced on most creatures in NL, ( or made more specific in some cases .. no more across the board ) - Castle creatures have been made "evil" On NL Test, the fire resist seemed to be removed from all of the crits on Castle L4 (Green.) After the changes to live toda...

3 armor slots that could use an update: helm, sash, and boots. Most commonly used items in those slots are: Helm - Titan Helm - Drop from Mormar-10 Researcher (LVL 60 Requirement) 5/5 combat adds with the clickable advanced discipline, Servant of the Nameless. Sash - Tree Sash - Drop from Lanapi (LV...

Request - Bonus NL perk with Gold Subscription
I know we've spoken about the recent Platinum changes at great length in the previous thread, but I feel that Bonus NL should be given to Gold Subscribers as well. Most players have gotten so used to the faster rounds and double experience that playing in Normal NL is too slow and a poor use of time...

Plenty of PSI-cutter items available in multiple slots that are able to be used. The Ice Ablation II rings have a ton of ice protection as well.

As long as you wear appropriate gear to protect against the ICE and the STUN, you should be fine. The melee isn't much of an issue.

drakkar is not those games and does not have the population those games do. Drak is populated largely by people whom have been playing it for 10-15+ years and has a relativity low percentage of new players joining the player base. Subs will generate more capital for the game over the long haul The ...

Re: Subscription upgrade
I disagree that pay to win is always a bad idea. It's helped keep many games in the past sustainable. 10 years ago, I would have agreed with you completely, but the market has changed. It now has become routine to pay a little extra for an extra benefit. I can't tell you how much I've spent on extra...

Re: Subscription upgrade
I agree that the price is very steep for Platinum. I'd love a $5 Gold/$10 Platinum plan with the removal of LGH/UGH slots. You could always try and offset the difference by introducing some sort of feature that offers timed-based experience or skill bonuses for a fee. Some examples: 3X EXP/SKILL ove...

"Darge: maybe recent end game needs more powerful, new healer buff. But I would not know because I am not there" And there's the refrain! Let's not pretend the play styles in SK are dramatically different than previous content in NL/GDH. Our feedback is going to be given on class balance ...

A note on NL2 rounds and Class Tiers
It seems that since the implementation of NL2, these faster round scenarios are becoming the normal areas for most groups rather than an extra challenge. It's even more now that we're testing/tuning the SK Expansion in NL2. The fast rounds have offered a great advantage when it comes to CDs of offen...

Re: First Area Solo/Duo Perspective
Another option would be to allow us to improve our killers past the SDC +12 buff to make them comparable to the brooms/spears. They don't necessarily need to be made equal due to the rarity/difficulty in obtaining the broom/spear, but at least not obsolete as they are currently. Most classes are ski...

The area isn't a finished product, and this is the testing/tuning phase. There's always been a risk when testing new content.

Great post Cobra. The game has always been cyclical. There is always a new fad everytime people discover how great a certain item or class can be. I don't have a problem with the power of an MA at top end content. They do have great offensive power, but are very susceptible to damage from psionic an...

Re: Request For Feedback / Grouping /Partying
These seem like interesting concepts. I know WoW is considering using the system from CoH as well. I think the system works best allowing players of a larger level to scale themselves down to hunt in areas with friends. One of the perks to growing your character to a larger size is seeing the higher...

Re: GAME DIRECTION?
It seems to me that these fixes are just plugs to some of the loopholes in the game. Mormar was designed for the primal players in the game. It was given huge experience gains because of how great the difference was in each level from 56 to 75. There is a reason each level from 19 to 50 are an exact...

I love my class. I might not have the best damage or the best defense, but I have awesome quirks, can teleport, have a wide range of useful skills that benefit my class, I can hunt solo AND am useful in a party. Everything isn't about how much damage you put out, there is much more to playing this g...

Re: something i dont know about?
I think it might be time for a crying baby picture. =) You have to understand that there needs to be class balance in this game, and I'd say that there is a pretty good balance right now. Every class has it's role and their own strengths/weaknesses. If you're going to bring up the fact that top end ...
