Boat ride back

I'm a ment so i normally twig out of Alearia, but i messed up today and didn't make one. It's been a really long time since i've needed to use the boat back. When did it start dropping you off in the bad lands instead of 3.5?

Petition for the death of 8 bit.

I like many things in the old FE. Some of the artwork and not having to right click to change the cursor into an arrow so not to oneshot an npc are two that I can think of right off the top of my head. But its time has come and gone. When you talk about how many bits a game has it normally refers to...

I hit a point at which I seemed to stop getting them so I spend them, and then it was normal again. Hard to tell when they are random. I do recall brad saying at one point that he would make a cap of 50 on unspent quirks to prevent hording and spending on new abilities as they're released. Maybe he ...

Healer gains, partied

Over the weekend I was part of an exp party that lasted about eight hours. I received 11 quirks, others had similar gains. The healer in the party only got 2. She was mainly stunning, healing, proting, and CC’ing. I was wondering if other healers have had similar results when being a fully active pa...

Did you know? You can shoot with any weapon, although it will only hit at its normal distance. (Shoot <name> ) You can attack with Attack <name> Shoot <name> Fight <name> Stab <name> Never damaged tested to see if different weapons work better with different attacks macro. (Kick <name> works too, bu...

Willpower quirk

How about making use of the willpower disc by way of the quirk system.

1 quirk 1% chance of getting level 1 willpower.
10 quirks 10% chance of getting level 10 willpower.

maybe up to 20 with some lock outs.

I don’t use a pop up blocker, I try to have as little running as possible. I use the following method. 1 right click on the pop up window, click “create shortcut”, click “ok” 2 right click the shortcut that was placed on your desktop, click “properties” (Don’t left click, you might accidentally laun...

Put in a npc that could "encrust" the arrows to the bow. The coding should be much easier as the bow would still be used the same, and brad wouldn't need to come up with a new place to put arrows. The arrows could be "encrusted" onto a basic bow (the way basic weapons in cob can be forged). The bow ...

I’m not asking for the bonuses, only what a crit of its size should bring, if it’s too large for me then cap it. Alas I am tired of explaining my points tonight, it would be nice to see a little support as I know from talking to people that there are those out there that think my opinion is valid bu...

Originally posted by Pepma I said skill and not exp. and furthermore, I'd really hate to hear you whine, when you get bigger and can't gain exp in lesser area's (which does make sense) I know, I’ll try again Say a kill gives .05 % but you are capped at .02 %, you get the .02 % Now if brad thinks th...

Originally posted by Pepma By this reasoning, then everyone should gain the same skill in n1 regaurdless of size... Yes, and every one does If the crit is worth say 1k in skill points every one gets 1k in skill points, you might need 100 meg in skill points so the percent that crit gives you is sma...

I heard there was a conference with Brad on Friday and I should have said something then. I’m not trying to nurf ments, I’m trying to have a level playing field for all crits that are able to make a kill. And I would bet that just about anyone in NL has done exactly the same things we are discussing...

I was on vacation last week and didn’t know the changes were coming. As for nurfing the ments, no one would be able to one shot forgottens if not for the ments so I believe that the suggestions are legitimate As for wreaking it for everyone it implies you do want the easy skill with no risk, you jus...

NL suggestions for the small crits

As the current NL exp/skill system is not fair to lower lvl crits lets try a few ideas to make it better. It’s not fair as lower crits get less skill for the same kill. People/sysops have hinted that it’s just the removal of the NL skill bonus, but 5k for a forgotten is way out of line for its place...
