Just randomly perusing the Drak forums, cause I'm bored and not sleepy.. On this issue, when I played the game, I always thought that Brad should recode the loot thing a bit.. Granted the corpses need to rot for new to regen, why not have them rot as usual, but after a corpse rots have it leave behi...

Happy Hunting Everyone

About 10 days ago, I decided to quit Drakkar altogether, for various reasons. In the past 10 days, I've thought alot about Drak of old and how it is today, doesn't have the same appeal to me as it used to, is quite the different game. So, in short, this will be my last post in these forums and I'd l...

Looks great! But one thing really bothers me about it...the HOME link, firstly the crosshairs on it really degrade the image of the page, and it just looks out of place and thrown in. Imho, the BEST place to put it would be to resize the blue buttons along the top, and make one that says HOME on it,...

Heh, just found 1 good reason to lvl up ment/healer on a thiefy...so when you wear NL +hps/+eps bracers, your IV/Darkness/Respirate/Reveal use your eps...needless to say my ment/healer skill is only at 4..so they suck, compared to when I cast them thru hps at skill 30 thievery. But on the other hand...

I was referring to skillin ment/healer on a thiefy as a bug, because if you get down to the nitty gritty of what a bug is, technically that is a bug. From every piece of documentation put out by Brad and the Drakkarzone crew over the years, it is well documented that thieves cast their spells via hp...

Would be kewl if traps were more useful outside of Nork. One way would be for Brad to program in some of the tier disciplines so that they can be on traps, and then either have the traps somehow drop randomly as loot in the areas, not as rare bloods/batwings, but perhaps as rare as the pages from wo...

A very basic definition of a 'bug', is a program functioning different that the programmer originally intended. Something that would make something NOT a bug, would be if a programmer specifically coded something to function a specific way, such as party skill versus solo skill, that's definately no...

I hate to be the devil's advocate on this, but of the things you mentioned, sounds as if your suggestions are the best things about the existing classes, all wrapped up into one class. Your suggests would greatly devalue thieves as we know them , simply cause your suggests for ninja are basically ju...

Acceptable & Allowable game bugs

Was just thinking , after seeing people snarl at folks who abused the last game bug. And no, I wasn't one of the abusers, but did make me think about an interesting forum topic. Some bugs are expressly forbidden to be taken advantage of by players, yet other bugs are allowable or acceptable, thought...

Nah, I think it is different with tied items, than the normal janitor program that clears hexes. Simply cause, yesterday I dropped a pair of illusion bracers in NL Bog, and today, aver 14 hours later, found them. But untied tying items seem to always poof if left laying untied , 3 or 4 hours.

If I remember correctly...if you leave an item that normally ties to a crit, laying on the ground untied, it poofs after 3 hours. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I can remember this feature, from a while back.

Yup, just checked it on my small healer.

Is weird, both the *train 0,10,4 and the *train 0,12,4 commands light up the healer skill box. But, the one with 10 shows incorrect amount of skill, whereas the *train 0,12,4 commands shows the proper % that you've earned in healer skill.

darkriku, what you originally suggested, is already a part of NL, except the terms of king or queen aren't used...Graine and Nameless Lord are the names used, and you do quests for each

Max|Pic is correct...especially if thiefy used: venom+disease+decay+RAZORS+BS , with a macro, that could all be done in 1 rnd, starting from a hide position...if the thiefy was big enuff to hide from the other person, the thiefy would always win.

I believe the serious problem with barbs & haste is their vamping ability. If a barb is hasted he'll be vamping a whole heck of a lot more each round, and would that extra vamping make them invincible?

This doesn't sound like a bad idea at all... perhaps have it shade the meter yellow for how far you are paid ahead in skill traing, then a red bar showing how far along it it, so you could quickly see at a glance when gained paid skill is moving to unpaid skill. Could be useful for post-30 skillin, ...
