On more testing... haste seems to work fine on npcs. Maybe just give players the npc version on high speed game if that's possible?

Can confirm losing rounds while hasted in high speed game. Usually lose 1 round every 3-4 rounds. I'm guessing haste actually changes the round interval, but on high speed game round interval is already as low as it can go? Not sure why that would cause the negative effects we see... maybe some weir...

Well unless you're using a macro like "search corpse; t item" someone else can always loot your items. But I guess the main issue here is that you don't get to choose when to search? That should be easy enough to fix by just having the corpses immediately drop to the bog when you kill with...

I think the flee code should definitely be removed from all the flying npcs in the wyvern area. As for loot ending up in the air/bog in general I think it is fine as is. Yeah, it's probably just an oversight. 500k is an artificial limit imposed by the FE (much like checking skill at a trainer who can't train you... you can get around the 500k banker limit). If Brad is still tweaking the FE for SDC may as well change this too.

Yeah snapshot is pretty worthless... about all it is good for is to bug people getting stoned or to make it harder to dex people. I've seen it actually work where it mattered maybe four times (and that's being generous). Even after the supposed sk38 bonus it's still terrible.

Some more possibly helpful info...
If you leave one player off the main zoo hex it seems to help a few more crits not disappear ... even if none of the crits are actually on that player's hex and they're still all on the main zoo hex.

Ah, thought it had been brought up before, but didn't feel like searching for the old thread. And actually they're not just wandering off. It's pretty easy to see when the crit population takes a drastic nose-dive or if you put a thief at entrance to cave - the npcs go in and never come out. It just...

It is most noticeable when skilling in BDC with a large party, but have also seen it in mormar when zoos get REALLY big. Anyways the issue is that when you get a big enough zoo npcs will just disappear, never to be seen again... it also seems to break their regen, lowering the overall number of npcs...

That's great, but one possible issue... is this also going to log ones we already know the first time we log in with them or something like that? Lots of folks already know all their tiers...- Added logging when a primal/advanced ability is learned, including time/date/location/etc

Which brings up another problem these days -- you shouldn't get different results based on who you talk to about a bug. They should have a clear stance on known bugs that they follow and anything outside of this should get escalated to Brad. Customer service 101...

Well just got the word from Mars that they don't track tiers and I'll just need to find new scrolls... which is rather ridiculous considering barb field tiers are some of the only 'rare' items in game. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but this is a new low for Drakkar... most expensive yet least up...

Doh, that sucks Terrel. Avatar Health is the one I'm most afraid I'm going to lose... took me forever to find that for my healer.

I totally agree that we either need a buffer or make lvl 75 items into lvl 74 items. The current situation is beyond annoying -- and it's the little things like this that could easily be changed that can really irritate people and make them go sour on a game.

AT seems quite bugged when you have more than one thief in a party. thief 1 has 20/20 AT thief 2 has 8/20 AT thief 1 in party, killing with charge gets an even split between thief and weapon skill (.04% in each). add thief 2 to party, thief 1 still killing with charge now makes .04% weapon skill and...
