The current format where we occasionally retain hide after a nonfatal backstab attempt doesn't really do much. Most thieves have hide stacked after a backstab to minimize time we're visible. always thought each person had to have crystals(last time i did an uther hunt, no one was grouped, as was a huge cause of lag back then, and we all had to have crystals)

Awww, someone stole the thief book in the library. :( Looks good overall, not overly impressed/unimpressed either way on the minor changes to lairs. Just makes it a bit of an annoyance when doing them for an alt. But for new players, it could actually be a complete deal breaker to even do the quest....

quite a few games do variations based on that. figured it would be the easist to impliment initially and then flesh out more things from there.

One suggestion, based on your faction have various unique npcs in each faction town, with varying items that are purchasable. Items that go along with that faction, different benefits etc. Don't make them class specific as that will hamper teamwork in the faction process. But make them vary accordin...

In my many incarnations of thief characters on drak, I've found that axe compares roughly to LS maybe a little bit harder to hide with.

imo a quirk to reduce thief tier/disc costs(say something like a 20 of 20 possible tier, cost 20 each, each point of the tier reduces thief's tier/disc costs by 2.5% so at max you have a 50% reduction to the hp cost) would be a good idea, could even make it a primal quirk for when they're introduced...
